C / C++ Developer: Compiler & Tools SDK


Compiler and Tools development cutting edge performance analysis and
visualisation SDK. Latest embedded, multi-core, parallel and high

Location: Bristol, South West UK
Salary: #32,000 - #37,500 (permanent employment)

Environment: C, C++, Assembly, compilers, tools, SDK, LLVM, DSP,

Successful proof of concept and ongoing commitments from major customers
has created an innovative new C / C++ Developer role within an emerging
business with considerable expertise, strong market opportunity and
radically effective products.


Advances in modern computer hardware, particularly the advent of
multi-core and parallel computing CPU / GPU architectures has created a
significant issue for organisations and software development
professionals, and in turn a strong market opportunity: analysing
application code performance, re-engineering and optimising the code to
take advantage of today's and tomorrow's computing capabilities.


Reporting to the CTO, your main remit is contributing to core development
of two software products, both targeted at applications developers: the
compilers and core functionality for data and hardware performance
analysis and visualisation SDK, and optimised software libraries.


An extreme / pair programming methodology has been adopted, for the best
performance and innovation. This also promotes an expert collaborate team
environment, with freedom to contribute fresh ideas and input challenges
towards product development.


You'll be working at the forefront of embedded and hardware technologies,
addressing significant problems for major corporations and software
development professionals worldwide. As the produce range evolves and
expands, you will be contributing to many core and associated areas of
functionality right across compilers, tools and SDK technologies.


Urgently sought:


Excellent C, C++ and low level Assembly. Strong understanding of hardware
and resource utlilisation, writing optimised code. Compiler, tools, and or
SDK development experience. Complete software development life-cycle
skills, including testing and debugging. Self-starter, excellent time
management and prioritisation abilities. Flexibility and commitment to the
success of a young growing company.


Salary and benefits:


#32,000 - #37,500 joining salary. Stock options. 25 days annual leave. 12
month salary review. Continuous learning and development. Career
progression to potentially include team or technology leadership as the
business grows.
