Description:
Cisco seeks a compiler development engineer with a strong academic
background in compiler technology. The ideal candidate will have an MS in
Computer Science or a Ph. D., significant coursework and thesis/projects
related to compiler development, exposure to open source compiler
development such as GCC, coursework related to processor architectures and
operating systems. Background working with toolchains for Linux preferred.
* The right candidate must be located in the Bay Area or be able to relocate
themselves.

Build Technology Engineer

Description:
Looking for a Build technology engineer in the makefile team at CISCO. The
domain knowledge needed are:
- theoretical concepts around build systems, structure, needs etc.
- knowledge of makefiles
- strong knowledge in any (or all) of the scripting languages like python or
perl.


Other requirements are:
- Very strong attention to detail and thoroughness in completing tasks
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work in a global team and help support and global customer
base.
