The Universal Parallel Computing Research Center (UPCRC) at the
University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (www.upcrc.illinois.edu), a
joint research endeavor with Microsoft Corporation and Intel
Corporation, is seeking Postdoctoral Research Associate candidates.
The Center brings together researchers in computer science and
computer engineering to discover easy and accessible methods for
programming multicore computing systems.


The qualified candidate must have strong research experience in
programming languages for parallel computing. The work will involve
language design and implementation. Research experience in compilers
and parallel programming is required. The research will be pursued in
collaboration with Professor Marc Snir and other faculty and students
in UPCRC and the Department of Computer Science.


The position is for one year, extendible to a second year. Salary is
commensurate with experience.
