Dear all,


Do you know of any papers that have statistics about the size of basic
blocks and does a bit of instruction profiling?*


I've done some Googling and looked in the ACM Digital Library, but
nothing suitable so far...anyone know a few citations or authors off the
top of their head?

* I'm intending to do my own basic block profiling, but just wanted to
see when it had been done previously and what sort of numbers were found...
