Hello all -
I thought folks might be interested in this - the license for
JavaCC/JJTree (1) recently changed (see links in (2)) from a nonstandard
Sun license to a simple BSD license. This means that it can be shipped
as part of a commercial product, used in an open source or research
project, or really most anything else with no fear of contamination.
So if you were thinking of using JavaCC but avoiding it for license
reasons, then, well, let a hundred schools of thought contend and all
that.
Yours,
Tom
