Hi,
Can anyone recommend a good article/book on stack based machine design
and implementation. I'm working on writing a compiler for a very small
imperative language.

[Do you want a hardware stack machine or a software one? In the
latter case, you might want to ask on the virtmach mailing list, since
software stack machines are considerably more popular than hardware
ones. -John]
