Just a hint:


You certainly can create an compiler for the VB language, and you also
may be able to implement the runtime library for that compiler, but
you'll have problems in making all the ActiveX components work in a
non-Windows environment.


What's a VB program worth, which cannot use database controls or any
of the many other third party controls?
