Call for Papers
ICPP Track on Embedded Systems
Submission Deadline: March 15, 2003
=========================================================================
The theme of Embedded Systems track (at ICPP 03) is to investigate the
issues pertaining to parallelism in embedded processors. Interestingly,
almost all the embedded processors although resource constrained, use some
form of parallelism -- high performance DSPs in fact rely heavily on it
and network processors such as IXP use multi-threading.
Exploiting parallelism given the irregularities of embedded processors
becomes a tricky issue. Tradeoffs between code size, speed, power
consumption, predictability pertinent to embedded systems become even more
interesting given the dimension of parallelism.
Papers are invited on all aspects of embedded computing including but not
limited to the above theme. For submission details, please visit the
ICPP 03 web page (www.cis.ohio-state.edu/~icpp2003)
