Dear all,

Actually, the number of embedded processors exceeds (by far) the
number of general purpose processors. I think that optimizing
compilation for embedded applications should receive as much attention
as optimizing compilation for high performance supercomputers during
the last four decades.

My question is general : what would be in the future the big challenges
in embedded compilation ?

For instance, in high performance computing, automatic parallelization
and cache otimization were good challenging research areas. In embedded
compilation, there would be power consumption, code size, etc. What else ?

Thanks for sharing,
SAAT
