Alternative suggestion: Run your current VMS-based system on one of
the VAX emulators om IA32 hardware and Windows or Linux - if you want
a commerically-supported version, buy a CHARON-BAX license. This
presumes that there is no hardware depdendency (e.g., some sort of
special interface driving your embedded system).
