Call for Participation
The Working Conference on Reverse Engineering (WCRE) is the premier
research conference on the theory and practice of recovering
information from existing systems.
WCRE is truly a working conference, where discussion is emphasized. By
tradition, each paper presentation has a strict 20-minute limit.
Following each group of papers on a given topic, there is serious and
in-depth discussion of the topic area, the work described in the
presentations, and the implications for future research. WCRE
attendees are not passive observers; we are active participants in
discussing and shaping future directions of the Reverse Engineering
and Reengineering fields.
The WCRE program is available on the web at
http://reengineer.org/wcre2002/
It includes over 30 presentations, a tool demonstration session,
the Stevens award lecture, an invited talk on reverse
architecting, and a specialized workshop on software
architecture recovery.
You are kindly invited to attend WCRE 2002,
and to participate in any of the intense discussions we have!

Call for Tool Demonstrations
WCRE 2002 offers you the opportunity to demonstrate your
reverse engineering tools to potential users and collegue
tool developers. To use that opportunity, write a short
tool description and send it to wcre2002@durham.ac.uk
before September 20, 2002.
Tool demonstrations are scheduled during WCRE on Thursday
October 31. You are requested to bring your own
equipment (e.g., laptop) to be used for the demonstration.
