Job Description:
Intel's unique combination of robust network processors, comprehensive
software environment, flexible hardware development platform, and example
designs provide a complete development environment for next-generation
network solutions. To contribute to the success of Intel's network
solutions, the ideal candidate will design and develop compilers for use in
the current and the next generation of network processors. Responsibilities
include being an active senior technical contributor, applying state of the
art compiler technology to creatively bring out the best of the system
architecture in network applications. Tasks will include front-end,
optimization, code-generation and runtime support work. The candidate will
also have the opportunity to develop advanced compiler features, and improve
performance and code size for networking applications. Expect to apply
advanced principles, theories and concepts, to contribute to the development
of new technologies and to integrate and communicate information. Must also
be a team player and able to work and communicate effectively with members
from various internal groups such as architects, library and application
developers, validation, marketing, field support, TME's, tech pub, etc. as
well as key external customers.
Education:
Bachelor's Degree/6+ years or Master's Degree/4+ years, or Ph.D. Degree/2+
years in industry quality compiler backend or optimizer development.
Desired: Codegen experience with embedded systems and cross compilers
Desired: Micro coding experience
