Masters in Advanced Information Technologies

The Department of Computer Science welcomes applications to its taught
Advanced Masters course in Advanced Information Technologies. This
program focuses on recent developments in Computer Science, such as
Internet Computing, Distributed and Mobile Computing, Software
Engineering and Intelligent Systems. The course aims to prepare
graduates for the industry as well to give a solid foundation for
further studies at a doctoral level.
Due to the Department's heavy involvement in FP5 (mainly IST) but also
other EU-funded initiatives, a number of scholarships and other types
of financial assistance exist for the graduate students, which range
from partial or total waiving of fees to a full scale monthly salary
for those who will be employed as part-time or full-time Research
Associates in one of the many projects that are currently under way in
the Department.

1. Curriculum Vitae.
2. Copies of degree certificate or certificate of expected graduation
in the Summer of 2002.

4. Brief (up to 2 pages) statement of purpose and research interests.
5. Names and addresses of two University professors, whom the applicants
should request to send letters of reference directly to the
Postgraduate Admissions Tutor of each Department.
The deadline for receiving applications is the 29th March 2002.
