I think he's referring to Gerald M. Weinberg's "The Psychology of
Computer Programming". I'd like to tell people that this (excellent!)
book is now back in print again:

      Gerald M. Weinberg
"The Psychology of Computer Programming: Silver Anniversary Edition"
Dorset House, Sept 1998, paperback ISBN 0-932-63342-0

[It's a fine book. The new edition has an appendix that tells us how
little has changed in 25 years. -John]
