Subject: C/C++ compiler developer positions in Mentor Graphics
Date: Mon, 22 May 2000 17:36:57 -0700
From: Yenjo Han <Yenjo_Han@mentorg.com>

The Embedded Software Division of Mentor Graphics is looking for C/C++
compiler development engineers to participate in the development of
our next generation of compilers for the embedded software market.

Positions are available at all levels from an entry level to more
advanced levels. We look for candidates with a strong background in
Discrete mathematics, Automata and Theory of Computation, Algorithms,
Data Structures, Microprocessor Architecture, Assembly Programming,
Programming Languages, Operating Systems, and Compiler Theory.

A master's degree in Computer Science, or a related field, or
equivalent experience is required. A strong C programming background
is required. Experience in ELF/DWARF2 would be a distinct advantage.
Ability to learn complexities of compiler internals and genuine
interest in compiler engineering can be considered in lieu of some of
the above requirements. Once hired, the candidate will be expected to
make up for any missing background as soon as possible.

The Embedded Software Division of Mentor Graphics is located in
San Jose, CA. For more information about the division, please
visit http://www.mentor.com/embedded/.

If you are interested, please send a copy of your cover letter
and resume to the hiring manager, Yenjo Han (yenjo_han@mentor.com).
