I think that Dr Bruce Watson worked on oo compilers a few years ago
when he worked at Ribbit Software. Unfortunately he seems to has
disappeared since then (i.e. I cant find him on the web :), and I dont
have the references readily available. I think he outlined the ideas
in an invited address at SAICSIT 95 titled "Trends in Compiler
Construction". I do remember that there was some talk about a book
somewhere, but the Library of Congress hasn't any entries on it so I
doubt that it was ever released.
