A sparse compiler for data-oriented application?

    It exists many researches about sparse compiler for scientific
applications. Few documents disscuss with sparse compiler for other
data-oriented applications or Internet applications. Where can I find
those documents?

[I've seen plenty of sparse matrix packages, but I can't think of any
built into compilers. Then again, a lot of SQL databases are really
sparse tables, and there's been considerable development there. -John]
