Indeed, this book is worth reading. It presents concepts of
programming languages along with some particular languages
which implement these (often unusual) concepts. To a student,
this book reveals that not every programming language is like
C and (even more astounding) not every language is imperative.


Finkel's book is not available in printed and bound form anymore.
