Personally, I didn't like this book too much. IMHO, it focuses too
much on small implementation details, and the example code (at least
in the C version) is virtually unreadable. A better choice could be:


Tremblay, Jean-Paul & Paul G. Sorenson: The Theory and Practice of
Compiler Writing. McGraw Hill (1985)
