Look through CSci references for "The Cornell Program Synthesizer" by
Tim Tietelbaum. You could generate whole environments for languages
with that thing, as I recall.

[Teitelbaum et al spun off a company based on the synthesizer work. I
have lunch with them now and then, they're about 10 miles from here.
