DSP Software Tools Developers-COMPILER EXPERTS NEEDED
3 positions available


Job Descriptions-
Specify, design, document and test software tools for DSPs. Tools include
Assemblers, simulators, linkers, compilers and debuggers.


Experience-
BS/MS or PhD in computer science.
Experience with complex software development projects, programming in
UNIX, and PC environments. Experience in any of the above listed tools or
other tools is preferred. Experience with DSPs, microprocessors, or
microcontrollers.


Compensation-
$60k-$100K + 12 to 15% annual bonus + incentive bonus + relo + sign-on bonus.


Location- Atlanta, GA.

      * Type of position: software engineer (PhD or MSc)

      * Starting date: February 1999
      * Location: Compose project, IRISA/INRIA Rennes (France).


      * Description:
          Generation of programming environments for domain-specific languages in
          consumer embedded systems and multimedia.

          The software engineer will work in the Compose group, in connection
          with an industrial partner in the domain of digital TV and multimedia.
          This partner will provide concrete applications.


      * Sought expertise:
          Design and implementation of programming languages, program analyses
          and transformations, embedded systems.


      * Technical knowledge:
          The applicant must be experienced in software development with C.
          Knowledge of ML and C++ is an asset.
