Looking for techniques to optimize code for stack machines. So far,
I've only dug up a book and a few articles by Phil Koopman
(http://www.cs.cmu.edu/afs/cs.cmu.edu/Web/People/koopman/) but nothing
as comprehensive as the literature for register machines.

Online papers/articles would be great :-), bibliographies too. Please
mail me if you prefer, and I'll summarize responses if there is
interest.
