CALL FOR PARTICIPATION

    ICA3PP-96
    IEEE Second International Conference on Algorithms and Architectures for
    Parallel Processing

        Science Auditorium, National University of Singapore
        Singapore, June 11-13, 1996

      The successful inaugural ICA3PP event was held in Brisbane, Australia,
      in April 1995. The second conference is organised by IEEE Singapore in
      collaboration with the Department of Information Systems and Computer
      Science, National University of Singapore.

        TOPICS

      ICA3PP aims to establish itself as a high-quality international forum
      for discussion in the areas of parallel processing, distributed
      computing, and other related high-performance topics. It will
      therefore be of interest to scientists, researchers, engineers, and
      practitioners. Paper submissions in the following areas of interest
      have been received:
          * parallel architectures and systems
          * parallel algorithms
          * parallel programming languages
          * parallel programming environments and debugging
          * distributed operating systems
          * scheduling and workload management
          * performance evaluation and tuning
          * parallel I/O systems and interconnection networks
          * theoretical frameworks for designing parallel systems
          * applications and tools
          * fault tolerance

      In addition to the presentations of the accepted papers, the
      scientific program will include three invited talks from keynote
      speakers. The ICA3PP proceedings will be published by IEEE Press.

        KEYNOTE SPEAKERS

      The conference will be honoured by keynote speeches from the following
      distinguished speakers:
          * C. Leiserson(MIT)
          * K. Hwang(Hong Kong)
          * B. Larson(SGI)

        MINI-TRACKS and TUTORIALS

      Minitracks on parallel imaging processing and development of parallel
      tools have been confirmed. In addition, two tutorial sessions by M.
      Tomasevic, V. Milutinovic and B.K. Szymanski will be held on June 10,
      the day before the conference.
