Hi,


Could anyone provide any information on source level
optimization? I understand there are still many insteresting topics
on the IR or machine level but what about source level? I also know
the functional language community or language semantic groups have
done some of the research but what about our beloved compiler
community? I'm far more interested in the data structure selection or
simple algorithm transformation on some procedural languages. Any
comment will be greatly appreciated.
