Subject: US-MA-Cambridge: parallel compiler and tools developers

Integrated Computing Engines, Inc. is looking for compiler and
assembler/linker engineers to work on programming tools for an advanced high
performance computing platform. The team will work closely with system
architects to develop highly optimizing compilers for commercial
microprocessors and ICE's parallel architecture, the MeshSP.

All positions require BS or MS in Computer Science or Engineering with
extensive program development experience using C. Experience with GNU
compiler technology will be an advantage.

Openings are available in the following areas:

Compiler Engineers

Work closely with microprocessor designers to help define new
architectures, implementation tradeoffs, run simulations and
performance benchmarks.

Implement state-of-the-art compiler optimizations to take
advantage of processor features.

Integrate C front-ends with optimizing back-ends.

Prior experience in front-ends, code generation or code
optimization is necessary. Candidates with strong background in
architecture will be preferred. Parallel computing experience
helpful, but not critical.

Assembler/Linker Engineers

Implement support for new processors.

Investigate and support advanced features of high-level languages.

Perform link-time optimizations.

Candidates will have design experience at the OS level.
Knowledge of hardware and software interfaces with peripheral chips
is desirable. Must have programmed in at least one assembly language.

ICE offers an excellent salary, stock option, and bonus

real-time operating system.
challenges include the specification and development of advanced ANSI C,
C++ and class RTLs that meet the needs of embedded real-time systems. This

point libraries, signal processing, and numerical methods as applied in
real-time OS. The senior engineer will be expected to provide leadership
in this development effort.

MS CS of equiv. plus 5+ years relevant experience. Fluency in C and C++
