We are looking for a compiler-compiler (LEX/FLEX and YACC/BISON, or
similar suite of tools) which has been thoroughly tested and verified,
and supported by its vendor.


The ideal situation would be a tool suite produced by an organization
that has received ISO 9000 certification and has produced the
compiler-compiler tool suite in conformance to that standard. Second
best is a tool suite which has been thoroughly verified using a
documented test suite which our software quality engineers could
inspect for purposes of certifying our use of the tool.


I realize that it very unlikely that I will find any public domain
software that meets these criteria. Commercially available software
is fine; we are willing to buy high-quality software tools (and pay
for support, too).
