Try bochs, freely available on many ftp sites out there. For example,

ftp://tsx-11.mit.edu/pub/linux/ALPHA/Bochs/*

It's an 80x86 emulator (I believe x=0 currently, but last I heard,
it was heading towards 3 or 4).
