    There was some discussion on comp.compilers in 1990 on the very same
thread. An article that best (in my opinion) contrasted polymorphism
and overloading was posted on <Thu Sep 13 23:39:38 EDT 1990> by
<norman@a.cs.okstate.edu> I have not enclosed the original article
here since I am not sure if it will be considered a violation of some
sort. You can pick up the original postings via ftp from iecc.com
