Is anybody aware of languages or compilers which have inherent support for
dynamically changing code? Having done some research in this area, the
only immediately obvious candidates for this that I have come across seem
to be Smalltalk and LISP; there seems to be a general paucity of languages
which have any form of semantic support for this sort of concept.

Any suggestions which people can provide would be greatly appreciated.
Replies through email would be preferred, please.
