    Driven Engineering

From: "Nelson David-CDN011" <David.C.Nelson@motorola.com>

Motorola's Software Design Automation center, located in Schaumburg,
IL, is seeking a developer for its automatic code-generation
project. The focus of the team is the automatic transformation of
high-level specifications into efficient code, and the development of
supporting tools written largely in Common Lisp. This transformation
is driven by a knowledge base of both general and domain-specific
programming techniques. Responsibilities of the position include the
identification and codification of domain-specific optimization and
implementation schemes, and development of related tools such as test
systems and metrics tools.

The basic qualifications include a bachelors degree in a related field
and 2+ years of experience, including experience in Lisp or compilers.
Familiarity with UML or SDL would also be extremely useful. The
successful candidate will have an understanding of implementation and
optimization techniques that go beyond mere programming experience,
and the ability to codify such knowledge in order for it to be applied
to specifications.

If you are interested in working with this dynamic and highly skilled
group, please see the full description of the position and apply at
http://www.motorolacareers.com. The Job ID for this position is 69898.
