PA-RISC, while not a "pure" RISC, ala MIPS or SPARC, is pretty far from
being called VLIW...


For compiler techniques, check out the UofI Impact group, plus stuff from
HP-Labs, the Trillian Linux group etc. Lots of stuff out there.
